At Blacks Transport, we're looking for experienced MC Linehaul Drivers to join our Rockhampton operation, with multiple positions available across our Queensland freight network.

We have a busy operation with freight moving between our depots every day, and we're looking for capable drivers who know the industry, take pride in their work and want to be part of a transport business that values their experience.

MC Linehaul Drivers | Rockhampton

You'll be operating MC combinations across our Queensland linehaul network, moving general freight between depots and supporting our wider transport operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing scheduled linehaul runs across Queensland
- Operating MC combinations safely and professionally
- Conducting vehicle inspections and checking load security
- Following fatigue management requirements and maintaining accurate work diary records
- Working with depot teams to coordinate freight movements and departures
- Completing freight paperwork and delivery documentation
- Communicating with linehaul control throughout your runs
- Looking after your truck, trailers and equipment

Linehaul isn't always predictable. Freight volumes change, schedules move and sometimes things don't go to plan.

We're looking for drivers who understand that side of transport and can work through it safely and professionally.

What We're Looking For

A current MC Licence is essential.

Ideally, you'll also have:

- Proven MC linehaul driving experience
- Experience with general freight and heavy vehicle combinations
- A solid understanding of fatigue management and transport compliance




- Good knowledge of load restraint and vehicle safety
- Confidence working independently on long distance runs
- Clear communication with operations and depot teams
- A reliable and qualified approach to your work

Experience travelling throughout Queensland and working within a multi depot freight network will be highly regarded.

We value drivers who know their equipment, understand their responsibilities and are comfortable making sensible decisions on the road.
