Operator We are looking for an experienced Operator to join our Milperra recycling operations team. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of our busy site, operating a range of mobile equipment including forklifts, excavators, and other plant while helping to process and recycle valuable materials. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a supportive team. This is a permanent day shift position, generally working 6:00am to 2:00pm, with flexibility required as finish times may vary to meet operational needs. What you’ll be doing:
• Operating forklifts, excavators and other mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and skip bins.
• Sorting, grading and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Assisting with the receival, processing and dispatch of recyclable materials.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work workplace.
• Following health, safety, environmental and operational procedures.




• Identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Supporting general yard operations and site activities as required.
• Delivering outstanding customer service to drivers, suppliers and customers. What you’ll bring:
• Current Forklift Licence and practical operating experience.
• Previous experience operating heavy mobile plant and equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team-focused approach with a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Knowledge of metal grading and recycling processes (desirable but not essential). Why work for us:
