YARD PERSON

Eastside Group is looking for a reliable, hands-on Yard Person to keep our depot organised and support our crews.

The role includes:

- Keeping the yard clean, tidy and safe.
- Preparing tools, equipment and materials for jobs.
- Loading and unloading using a forklift.
- Carrying out pickups and deliveries.
- Cleaning and checking returned equipment.
- Reporting equipment faults and damaged or missing items.
- General yard duties and basic upkeep.

We’re looking for someone with:

- A valid HR driver’s licence or higher.
- A current High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation.
- Mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to their work.
- Good organisation and the ability to work independently.
- A strong commitment to health and safety and following company policies and procedures.
- The ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
- Reliability and care for tools and equipment.
