As we expand our services across Central Queensland, we are seeking experienced and dedicated healthcare professionals to join our Rockhampton team, including Brisbane-based candidates interested in FIFO work.

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses, or suitably qualified professionals with extensive complex care experience, to provide specialised support to a paediatric participant with significant clinical needs.

The role involves delivering high-intensity care within a 24/7 support environment, including active overnight shifts.

Essential clinical experience includes:

- Tracheostomy care, including airway management
- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support




- High-intensity and complex disability supports
- Clinical observation, documentation and escalation procedures
- Safe delivery of care in accordance with individual clinical care plans
- Effective communication with nursing and multidisciplinary teams

Rostering and Employment Opportunities:
We offer flexible arrangements for both local Rockhampton candidates and FIFO professionals based in Brisbane.

- FIFO positions available from Brisbane to Rockhampton, with accommodation, meals and a staff vehicle provided
- Week-on/week-off FIFO roster
- 12-hour shifts available
- Approximately 48 rostered hours per fortnight, subject to final roster confirmation
- Potential additional ad hoc shifts during rostered weeks off
- 24/7 care requirements, including active overnight supports
- Initial casual employment, with the opportunity to transition to part-time after three months, subject to performance, suitability and operational requirements

Essential Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, or extensive relevant complex care experience for suitable non-nursing support roles
- Demonstrated practical competency in tracheostomy care and PEG feeding
- Significant experience supporting individuals with complex and high-intensity care needs
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including active overnight shifts
- Strong communication, documentation and clinical escalation skills
- Relevant NDIS Worker Screening clearance and other required employment checks
- Commitment to safe, reliable and professional care delivery

Preference will be given to experienced Enrolled Nurses and candidates with substantial hands-on experience in the clinical support areas outlined above.
