About GMB Curtains & Blinds

GMB Curtains & Blinds is looking for a reliable, skilled and experienced Blinds & Curtains Installer to join our team as a subcontractor.

The successful candidate will carry out professional installations of blinds, curtains and sheers at residential properties across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

- Install roller blinds, vertical blinds, curtains, sheer curtains and other window furnishings.
- Complete installations neatly, accurately and professionally.
- Ensure all products are installed according to job specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Take care of client properties and company products.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients.
- Attend scheduled installation appointments on time.
- Report any installation issues or discrepancies to the office promptly.
- Provide installation updates and completion details to the office.

Requirements

- Previous experience in blinds and curtains installation is essential.
- Own installation tools and suitable transport.
- Valid ABN and ability to provide invoices, as applicable to the engagement.




- Appropriate insurance and licences/qualifications, where required.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and qualified.
- Ability to work independently and manage installation jobs.

Payment Terms

- This is an ABN subcontractor position.
- Payment is made against a valid invoice.
- Payment is calculated per job based on the agreed installation charges.
- Installation rates must be agreed upon before commencing each job.
- Payment timeframes and invoicing requirements will be confirmed in the subcontractor agreement.
- The subcontractor is responsible for their own applicable tax and business obligations.

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
