Salary: AUD $90,000–$100,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience

About Us

Fresh Choys Pty Ltd is an established fresh produce wholesale and distribution business based in Mitcham, Victoria. We supply fresh fruit, vegetables and selected grocery products to restaurants, cafés, hospitality businesses, grocery retailers and other commercial customers.

As we continue to develop our business and expand our commercial customer base, we are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales and marketing activities, strengthen existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement and manage sales and marketing strategies to expand the company's B2B customer base and increase revenue.
- Establish sales targets, monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve customer acquisition, retention and repeat business.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities across the hospitality, food-service, catering and grocery retail sectors.
- Develop and manage business relationships with key commercial customers, including negotiating pricing, supply arrangements and commercial terms.
- Analyse market trends, customer purchasing patterns, competitor activities and product demand to inform sales and marketing decisions.
- Plan and oversee marketing and promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness and generate new commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage external marketing service providers, including promotional design, social media content and event support.
- Develop customer segmentation, product promotion and pricing strategies based on market demand, seasonal availability and commercial objectives.




- Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to align sales strategies with customer credit arrangements, product availability and delivery capacity.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports and recommendations to support business planning and management decisions.

Skills and Experience Required

- A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Business Management or a related discipline, or at least five years of relevant professional experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing management, business development or a closely related field.
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies, establish performance targets and achieve commercial objectives.
- Strong knowledge of B2B sales, customer relationship management, market analysis and commercial negotiations.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with commercial customers.
- Strong analytical, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate external service providers and work collaboratively across business functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant sales reporting or customer relationship management systems.
- Experience in fresh produce wholesaling, food distribution, FMCG or the hospitality supply industry will be highly regarded.
