Pay: $33–$36 per hour, including casual loading, plus superannuation

Indie Brands is an exciting retail platform dedicated to discovering, showcasing and promoting unique products and emerging brands.

We're bringing shopping and entertainment together through interactive livestreams, giving customers a fun and engaging way to discover products, connect with brands and shop in real time.

We're looking for a confident, outgoing and energetic host to become one of the faces of Indie Brands.

About the Role

Love being on camera? Have a big personality? Enjoy talking about products and connecting with people? This could be the perfect role for you!

You'll host live shopping broadcasts, introduce exciting products, demonstrate their features and engage directly with viewers while encouraging sales.

Our livestreams are designed to be entertaining, interactive and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

- Host livestream shopping sessions on platforms such as Whatnot and other digital channels.

- Showcase and demonstrate products from a variety of brands.

- Engage with live audiences, answer questions and encourage interaction.

- Present special offers, promotions and live shopping deals.

- Build relationships with viewers and encourage repeat customers.

- Keep broadcasts energetic, entertaining and professional.

- Prepare products and organise the studio before each livestream.

- Collaborate with the team to develop engaging content and improve sales performance.

- Assist with creating short-form videos and promotional social media content.

About You

- Confident on camera and comfortable speaking to a live audience.





- Outgoing and charismatic, with an engaging personality.

- A great communicator who can explain products clearly and enthusiastically.

- Quick-thinking and comfortable responding to live questions.

- Sales-oriented, with a friendly and natural approach.

- Creative and adaptable, bringing fresh ideas to broadcasts.

- Reliable and punctual, with availability for a regular livestream schedule.

Experience

Experience in livestreaming, TikTok Live, Whatnot, Instagram Live, content creation, retail, customer service, acting, presenting, public speaking, sales, product demonstrations, entertainment or hospitality would be beneficial.

No previous livestreaming experience is necessary. We value personality, confidence and enthusiasm over formal qualifications.

Product training and livestream guidance will be provided.

Working Hours

Casual employment, 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, approximately 20 hours per week. This is an on-site position in Sydney.
