Allegis Group is seeking an AI Engineer to design and implement intelligent solutions across our sales and workforce solutions platforms.

The AI Engineer will develop AI-powered capabilities within the Salesforce and data-platform environments, creating solutions that support smarter automation, enhanced data insights and improved recruiter productivity.

Working closely with data scientists, Salesforce engineers, product owners and business stakeholders, the AI Engineer will translate business requirements into practical and scalable AI solutions. The role will involve generative AI, enterprise data, intelligent automation and modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development

- Design, build and implement AI-powered features that enhance recruiter workflows, productivity and decision-making.
- Develop generative AI and intelligent automation solutions within Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
- Configure and customise Salesforce functionality using tools such as Apex, Agentforce, Prompt Builder and other relevant Salesforce capabilities.
- Integrate AI capabilities into Salesforce workflows and recruitment processes.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Python, SQL and related technologies.
- Build and support integrations between enterprise platforms using REST APIs and other integration methods.
- Work with structured enterprise data to support AI, automation and reporting solutions.
- Prepare, transform and validate data for use in AI and machine-learning applications.
- Develop intelligent automation solutions that reduce manual work and improve the consistency of recruitment processes.




- Support the development of solutions involving large language models and enterprise data.
- Monitor, test and improve the quality, accuracy, security and performance of AI solutions.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and the development of scalable AI architecture.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work with recruiters, product owners, data scientists, engineers and other business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify potential AI solutions.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical designs and deliverable solutions.
- Explain technical concepts and solution requirements clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout solution design, development, testing and implementation.

Required Skills and Experience

- Relevant professional experience in artificial intelligence, data engineering, software development or a related technical field.
- Practical experience developing and implementing AI, data or automation solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience using Python or a comparable programming language.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience working with structured data.
- Experience developing or configuring solutions within Salesforce or a comparable enterprise platform.




- Experience using Salesforce development capabilities such as Apex, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Einstein or Prompt Builder.
- Experience designing or supporting data pipelines, integrations and data-transformation processes.
- Experience integrating applications and platforms using REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of machine-learning principles and large language models.
- Understanding of prompt engineering and generative AI applications.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Experience

- Experience using Salesforce Flows or comparable workflow-automation technologies.
- Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
- Knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation concepts and applications.
- Experience developing solutions that combine large language models with enterprise data.
- Knowledge of conversational AI, knowledge graphs or multi-agent systems.
- Experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, security and responsible AI principles.
- Experience delivering AI solutions within recruitment, workforce solutions or professional services environments.

Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related discipline; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
