Opened in February 2024, Northern Private Hospital is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses to join our medical, surgical, perioperative and cardiac teams.

Our purpose-built, 70-bed hospital features four operating theatres, including a hybrid theatre, Mako robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery, a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, a four-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) and a six-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU).

Northern also uses digital communication technology that connects patient calls and clinical alerts directly to nursing staff, supporting timely responses and a quieter environment for patients.

Job Description

Your Opportunities

We're recruiting Registered Nurses with recent experience in:

- Medical & Surgical: Acute medical and postoperative care across orthopaedics, spinal, colorectal, general surgery, urology and other surgical specialties.
- Perioperative: Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and Recovery/PACU, supporting orthopaedic, general and specialist surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted joint replacements.
- Critical Care & Cardiac: Caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions, higher acuity needs and those recovering from cardiac procedures in our HDU and CCU.
- Cardiac Cath Lab: Supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI/stenting.

You'll use your clinical judgement and specialty expertise to assess patients,



recognise deterioration and coordinate care alongside specialist medical and multidisciplinary teams.

About You

To be considered, you'll need:

- Clinical education and professional development through Ramsay's Nursing and Midwifery Academy, including Transition to Specialty pathways where available.
- Full-time, part time and casual positions, with preferred hours and roster arrangements open for discussion.
- Remuneration: Base hourly rate from $42.52 - $52.80 + super depending on experience and qualifications. Penalty rates and allowances are additional. (VIC RN/Midwife Year 2 – Year 8*).

Additional Information

- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
