$33–$46 per hour

Ultimate Paintball is looking for mature, outgoing and highly reliable adults to join our weekend operations team.

This role is best suited to applicants aged 20+ due to the level of responsibility, leadership and customer interaction involved.

We operate one of Sydney’s largest outdoor entertainment venues, welcoming hundreds of customers through the park on busy weekends.

We are an amusement and entertainment venue first and foremost. Paintball is the activity, but creating an organised, exciting and memorable customer experience is the job.

That means we need people who can confidently stand in front of a crowd, command attention, manage groups, solve problems and keep the energy high throughout the day.

THE ROLE

This is a varied position combining:

Senior Refereeing
Lead groups through their paintball experience, deliver safety briefings, explain games and missions, manage customers on the field and keep sessions running safely and on schedule.

Customer Service
Welcome customers, answer questions, assist groups throughout their visit and help deliver the level of service expected from a premium entertainment venue.

Field & Operations Support
Assist with equipment, venue operations, game-day logistics, cleaning, setup and pack-down.

Field Support Driving
Operate venue vehicles where required to transport equipment, supplies and other operational items around our large outdoor facility.

This is a hands-on job. Some parts are customer-facing and high energy. Other parts involve getting stuck in and helping the team keep a large venue running smoothly.

- Hold a current driver's licence

Experience in hospitality, tourism, events, amusement venues, attractions, sport, recreation, retail management, coaching, customer service or team leadership would be highly regarded.

Paintball experience is not required. We can teach you paintball.

What we're looking for is much harder to teach: reliability, confidence, initiative and work ethic.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS ESSENTIAL

This is specifically a Saturday and Sunday position.

Our busiest days are weekends, so we're looking for people who have made a genuine decision to work weekends and can commit to being part of the regular roster.

If you regularly need weekends off, have sporting or social commitments that frequently clash with weekend work, or are looking for a role where weekend availability is occasional, this probably isn't the right position for you.

We understand that genuine illness, emergencies and important commitments happen. What we need is someone whose normal availability is Saturday and Sunday and who takes their rostered shifts seriously.

When you accept a shift, the team and our customers are relying on you to be there.

YOU'LL DO WELL HERE IF...

You're the person who naturally takes charge when a group needs direction.

You can stand in front of 30 people you've never met and confidently say:





"Alright everyone, eyes up here. This is what we're doing."

And they actually listen.

You enjoy talking to customers, can have a laugh while remaining professional, and understand how to read a group and adjust your approach.

You don't need someone constantly checking what you're doing. If something needs doing, you notice it and get onto it.

That's the type of person we're looking for.

PAY

$33–$46 per hour

Casual rates vary depending on experience, responsibilities, applicable penalty rates and shifts worked.

We're offering robust casual rates because we're looking for people who can bring maturity, reliability, initiative and genuine responsibility to the role.
