Albany Hills State School Outside School Hours Care is currently seeking a casual assistant educator for immediate start at our busy service.

Albany Hills OSHC provides Before (6:30-8:30am) and After School Care (3pm-6pm) and Vacation Care (6:30am-6pm) Monday to Friday. Prospective staff must be available to work early mornings and late afternoons

Previous OSHC knowledge and experience, Certificate III or Diploma qualifications in OSHC/children's services or current study in a related course are desirable but not essential. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be someone who will actively engage with children, show initiative, maturity, be hardworking, adaptable, honest, and reliable. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow within our service.





Wages are paid as per the P&C; State Award 2016. Albany Hills OSHC is a recipient of the Federal Government's Early Childhood Education and Care Worker Retention Payment.

Applicants must hold a Paid Working with Children Suitability Card prior to commencement of paid work.

Successful applicants will also be required to supply or obtain:

* National Police Certificate (no more than six months old);

* Complete/d the mandatory 'National Child Safety Training';

* First Aid Qualification - Provide and Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012).
