Join Fernwood Fitness's National Support Office in Richmond as our Senior Multimedia Specialist.

We're looking for a talented and creative Senior Multimedia Specialist to bring our brand to life through engaging video content across social media, digital campaigns, events and more.

You’ll be confident managing multimedia projects from concept through to final delivery, with a strong eye for storytelling and the technical skills to produce high-quality content. You’ll also work closely with our in-house creative, marketing and operations teams, franchise partners and club staff.

Key responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in creating engaging multimedia content that brings Fernwood's national campaigns and brand stories to life across a wide range of platforms, including:

Producing engaging video content for national campaigns, social media, digital advertising, websites and events

Managing the end-to-end video production process, from creative concepts and storyboarding through to filming, editing and final delivery

Creating mobile-first video content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and other digital platforms

Filming and editing a variety of content, including promotional videos, member testimonials, brand stories, workouts, recipes and event highlights

Making creative and technical decisions across cinematography, lighting, audio, editing and post-production

Planning, coordinating and filming video content at Fernwood clubs, events and external activations, including preparing shot lists,



run sheets and coordinating talent, with occasional travel as required

Capturing high-quality photography and retouching imagery for use across digital, social media and marketing campaigns

Collaborating closely with our creative, marketing, social media and content teams to develop engaging, on-brand multimedia content

Ensuring all multimedia content aligns with Fernwood's brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity

Managing multiple projects and production timelines while delivering high-quality work on time

Leading and mentoring a direct report, providing creative direction, ongoing guidance and constructive feedback, while supporting their professional growth, managing priorities and ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time

Staying up to date with video trends, social media platforms and emerging production technologies to continuously improve our content

Supporting franchise clubs with multimedia content and working with external production partners when required

Contributing fresh ideas and creative solutions that help drive audience engagement and strengthen our brand

About you

5+ years' experience in multimedia production, video production, content creation or a similar creative role

A Diploma or Degree in Film, Media, Multimedia Production or a related field





Advanced video editing and post-production skills, particularly in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

Strong filming and cinematography skills, including camera operation, lighting, composition and audio recording

Experience managing multimedia and video productions from concept through to final delivery

A strong understanding of social-first video content and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube

Experience using AI tools and emerging technologies to support creative production, video editing, content creation and streamline workflows

Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to turn creative briefs into engaging visual content

Experience coordinating video shoots, including talent, locations, equipment and production schedules

Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work across different teams and stakeholders

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for creativity and continuous improvement

High attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, on‑brand content

Bonus points if you have experience with:

Producing content for fitness, health, wellness or lifestyle brands

Podcast production, including filming, audio recording and editing

Live event filming or multi-camera productions
