We are a progressive Building Services Consultancy located centrally in Kew, Melbourne looking to recruit a Hydraulic Services Engineer to become part of our Team with excellent career progression for the right candidate. The position presents excellent chance for the right candidate to grow and develop within a supportive team.
In this role you will prepare hydraulic services design across a range of projects including Residential, Commercial, Education and Retail developments. You will work alongside experienced Engineers, Directors and collaborate closely with Clients, Architects and Consultants.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3+ years experience designing hydraulic services.
- Ability to step into the team and work on projects.
- Demonstrated Building Services knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit experience and proven skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent Communications skills and be well presented.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self motivated and a strong team player.
- Detailed design of hydraulic services including sanitary plumbing, cold/hot water supply, trade waste, drainage and gas services.
- Coordination of project documentation, registers, issuing deliverables and liaison with electrical, mechanical and fire engineering team.
- Knowledge of National Construction Code, Plumbing Code of Australia and Australian Standards (AS3500 series).
The remuneration package on offer is negotiable; however it will be commensurate with the successful candidates demonstrated skills and experience.
