Medical Receptionist | Casual | Immediate Start

Zetland, NSW | 2 – 3 days availability between Monday – Friday (8:00AM – 8:00PM) and Saturday (9.30AM – 4:00PM)

Infinity Health Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a Casual position - opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidate.

If you have experience working in a busy general practice, are confident using Best Practice, HotDoc, and Microsoft Windows, and enjoy providing outstanding patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and qualified experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy medical practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage appointments, recalls, and patient enquiries.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Register patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Use Best Practice, HotDoc, and Microsoft Windows to manage appointments, patient administration, and daily reception tasks.
- Process Medicare, EFTPOS, and other patient payments.
- Support doctors, nurses, and the wider clinical team.




- Perform general reception and administrative duties.

About You

- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 1 year experience as a Medical Receptionist in a GP or medical clinic.
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience using Best Practice, HotDoc, and Microsoft Windows.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, professional presentation, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Full working rights in Australia.

Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 per hour

Experience:

- Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
