Responsibilities:

- Support a client list, working with the team to deliver compliance and advisory focused work.
- Be given day-to-day contact with clients.
- Prepare documentation and attend allocated client meetings with team members.
- Help identify advisory opportunities and potential for referrals.
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS and related compliance work across a range of entity types.
- Support junior accountants by providing guidance on technical work as the main point of contact for queries.
- Review compliance work prepared by junior accountants to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards.

Experience:

- 2+ years of experience working in an Australian Public Practice.
- CA or CPA or close to completion.
- Ability to complete financial statements, tax returns, BAS and more, for companies, trusts, partnerships etc.
- Confident in talking to clients over the phone, via email and in person where applicable.
- Team focused - have a strong desire to support the success of everyone.
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
