Queensland Government seeks Official Visitors to provide independent and impartial review support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in custody. The role involves performing statutory review tasks under the Corrective Services Act 2006 and overseeing police requests related to prisoner questioning.

OVs are rostered to attend centres monthly and are paid per completed shift, while remaining independent from QCS and not advocating for prisoners.
