A career you can build. A community you can belong to.

Teaching at Dysart State High School offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career while making a genuine difference in a supportive regional community. You'll become part of a collaborative school where teachers are valued, encouraged to grow professionally and able to build meaningful relationships with students.

Life and teaching in Dysart is different from working in a metropolitan school. Our teachers have the opportunity to build strong, genuine relationships with students, work closely with colleagues and see the impact of their work within the school and wider community. Our school provides a supportive environment where teachers are encouraged to contribute ideas, develop their practice and take advantage of professional and career development opportunities. Whether you're an early career teacher looking for the right place to establish yourself or an experienced teacher ready for a change, you'll have the opportunity to make your mark.

Permanent teaching opportunities are available both immediately and for the 2027 school year across a range of secondary teaching areas. If you're looking for a school where you'll be supported professionally, valued personally and encouraged to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
