Hello Harry The Burger Joint Toowoomba is looking for a reliable, energetic and experienced Kitchen Staff Member / Cook to join our team.

About the Role

You’ll work with our kitchen team to prepare and serve quality burgers and sides, ensuring every order meets our standards for taste, presentation and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and set up kitchen stations before service.
- Cook burgers, sides and other menu items according to our recipes and procedures.
- Operate grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Ensure orders are accurate, well presented and served promptly.
- Communicate with the Front of House team to keep service running smoothly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen-handling procedures.
- Assist with stock rotation, storage and monitoring supplies.
- Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
- Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties, including dishwashing.





What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a cook or kitchen team member in a fast-paced hospitality environment is essential.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, including Friday and Saturday nights.
- The ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
- Valuable organisation and the ability to manage multiple orders during busy periods.
- A strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
- A team player who is willing to help with all kitchen duties.
