About the Role:
People Care Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to oversee regional operations and ensure the protected, consistent, and high quality delivery of services to clients.

Area Managers will lead and support administrators and Support Professionals, oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant NDIS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee regional service delivery, ensuring quality and consistency of client supports.
- Lead, supervise and support administrators and Support Professionals.
- Manage rostering, staff allocation, shift coverage, and timesheet approvals.
- Coordinate client intake, assessments, onboarding, and risk management.
- Monitor incidents, compliance, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Oversee SIL and respite properties, assets, and equipment.
- Monitor regional performance, service utilisation and operational outcomes.
- Ensure organisational processes and NDIS requirements are consistently followed.

Selection Criteria





Essential:

- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role within disability, aged care or community services.
- Experience leading frontline teams, including rostering and staff supervision.
- Working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and willingness to work to the Aged Care Act 2024 and the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Experience conducting client assessments and identifying risks.
- Sound judgement in incident management and escalation.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using client management and rostering systems.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and current driver’s licence.

Desirable:

- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Nursing, Allied Health or Management.
- Experience managing SIL or supported accommodation.
- Familiarity with FlowLogic or similar client management systems.
- Experience supporting audits, provider registration or managing multi-site teams.
