The Rococo Group is hiring! We are looking for a motivated and career-driven Pasta Chef to join us on our new venture in the beautiful beachside suburb of Mordialloc.

The Company

Our aim when we launched Rococo back in 2005, and to this day, has always been to provide Melburnians with simple, honest, delicious Italian food. We are passionate about all things food and wine and believe in the creating an experience for all our guests. We currently have 4 restaurants in Victoria; the first in St.Kilda and the second in Hawthorn and third in Point Cook and our latest in Mordialloc.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not restricted to;

- Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes consistently
- Call the pass
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and waste reduction
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain our high standards
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and promotional offerings




- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and health standards in accordance with regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Experience Pasta Chef in a high-paced restaurant
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
- Excellent understanding of budgeting, portion control, and inventory management
- A commitment to quality, consistency, and presentation
- Culinary degree or relevant training is preferred

Attractive Salary negotiable based upon experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mordialloc VIC 3195: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

- Italian Cuisine: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sous Chef: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (Preferred)
