About Playfit Therapy
Playfit Therapy is a family-owned paediatric allied health practice based in Adelaide's western suburbs, passionate about supporting children, adolescents and young adults to develop skills, build confidence and participate meaningfully in everyday life.
Established in 2023, Playfit has grown into a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Exercise Physiologists, working together to provide engaging, individualised and neuroaffirming therapy. We believe therapy should be more than just working towards goals. It's about building relationships, creating opportunities, celebrating strengths and helping children recognise what they are capable of.
We operate across two clinic locations, each offering something different. Our Port Adelaide clinic is a unique movement space, purpose-built in a 500 square metre gym, designed to support children aged five years through to young adulthood. Our Allenby Gardens clinic is a renovated home setting, providing a warm and welcoming space for early intervention, babies, young children and families.
Alongside individual therapy, we offer school holiday social group programs, community-based opportunities and collaborative support across home, school and clinic environments. We value working closely with families, educators and other professionals to ensure therapy is meaningful and skills are carried over into everyday life.
As a growing practice, we're committed to creating a workplace where clinicians feel supported, valued and encouraged to develop their own clinical interests. We pride ourselves on having a close-knit, fun and supportive team, where collaboration, flexibility and a genuine love for what we do are at the heart of our practice.
