About the Position:

Gong Cha Cairns Central, operated by BYC FAMILY PTY. LTD, is seeking a motivated and

experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy bubble tea store.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing store operations, supervising

employees, maintaining high customer service standards, controlling inventory and operating costs, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

*. Plan, organise and manage the daily operations of the store to ensure efficient business operations and excellent customer service.

* Manage staff recruitment, training, rostering, supervision and performance evaluations.

*. Monitor sales performance, operating expenses and labour costs to achieve business

targets.

*. Manage inventory levels, stock ordering and supplier relationships to ensure adequate

stock availability and minimise wastage.

*. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities and operational improvements to increase store profitability.

*. Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, financial transactions and operating

expenses.

*. Oversee product quality, beverage preparation standards and compliance with Gong Cha's

operational procedures.

*. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.





*. Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally.

*. Monitor store performance and prepare operational reports for business management.

Essential Requirements

*. AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

*. Minimum two years of relevant experience in retail, food and beverage or hospitality

operations management.

* Demonstrated experience in managing staff, preparing rosters and supervising daily

business operations.

*. Strong understanding of inventory management, budgeting, cost control and sales

performance.

* Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.

* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

*. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a

quick-paced environment.

*. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.

Salary: From 80,000 to 85,000AUD per annum plus superannuation, depending on

qualifications and experience.
