Program Manager (Contract)
please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
We are seeking a seasoned compliance program manager to provide dedicated, hands‑on compliance support across three integrated workstreams: launch compliance reviews, internal audit program management, and a centralized intake and tracking process for compliance requests. Operating within a monetization strategy and licensing organization, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring audit readiness, protecting revenue by preventing repeat audit findings, and enabling the broader team to focus on strategic contracting work. This is a fully remote, staff augmentation engagement requiring immediate productivity and the ability to work effectively across legal, finance, engineering, partner, and operations stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance reviews for product, offer, and program launches in accordance with established launch policies and processes, assessing risk and completing compliance assessments where required
- Maintain complete, audit‑ready records of approvals and supporting evidence for every launch review
- Program‑manage the FY27 Cloud Solution Provider Internal Audit from pre‑planning through fieldwork, reporting, and Management Action Plan development
- Coordinate scope input, stakeholder contacts, and process documentation throughout the audit lifecycle
- Manage document requests, walkthroughs, and evidence submissions against defined deadlines
- Track open audit items and follow up with stakeholders to drive timely resolution
- Collaborate with business process owners to validate audit issues and draft Management Action Plans
- Operate a single intake, triage, and tracking process for compliance requests and remediation actions across internal stakeholder groups including Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Partner teams
- Research compliance questions and draft responses, decision memos, and briefings for organizational decision makers
- Track remediation actions and Management Action Plan commitments through to closure, flagging risks and missed dates proactively
- Maintain a risks, actions, issues, and decisions log and prepare monthly status reports and executive updates for leadership
- Build reusable compliance assets including audit preparedness guides, compliance review templates, playbooks, and trackers to strengthen the long‑term compliance program model
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in compliance program management, internal audit support, risk assessments, controls evaluation, and process improvement
- Demonstrated experience managing an internal audit end‑to‑end, including pre‑planning, document requests, walkthroughs, evidence tracking, and drafting Management Action Plans
- Proven ability to assess controls against policy frameworks and produce audit‑ready approval and evidence records
- Experience supporting licensing, partner, or reseller programs, or commercial contracts in a technology environment is strongly preferred
- Experience building reusable compliance tools, playbooks, and trackers that improve program efficiency and scalability
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation is preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft explicit decision memos, briefings, and executive‑level status reports
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills with a disciplined approach to evidence management and deadline tracking
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment with minimal direction
- Deep knowledge of internal audit and controls frameworks including IIA standards, COSO, control design and testing, evidence management, and remediation planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Robust stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills with experience working across cross‑functional teams including legal, finance, and operations
- Familiarity with commercial licensing, partner, or reseller programs and the ability to quickly learn new program rules and agreement terms
- Experience with AI tools, Copilot, SharePoint‑based tracking solutions, or automation is a plus
