The Bureau of Meteorology invites applications for the Willis Island TO3 Officer in Charge (OIC) role, a remote posting for approximately 6 months starting April 2027, with October 2027 deployment option. You will lead a small team in an isolated workplace, oversee upper air and surface observations, instrument maintenance and data quality monitoring.

Candidates should have supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to mentor staff, with the resilience to live and work remotely.
