We have an exciting opportunity for a tutor to join our forward thinking business (centre based at Mona Vale but position could include travelling to schools all over Sydney's North Shore).

Working Hours: Potential for 5 days a week, however hours can be versatile around university or other work commitments.
Tutor
Tutoring at our Mona Vale centre, either during the day, or after school hours or both.
Desired:
- Previous experience tutoring primary maths and english
- Current teacher, or studying education at uni.
- Ability to tutor some highschool subjects.
STEM Tech Club Facilitator
You will be running educational, hands on after school clubs for children which run for 1 hour after school. You will be provided with all equipment for the session along with online tutorials on how to construct the exciting projects.
The children will be working with kits that build a variety of exciting items such as torches, air rockets and balloon powered cars; mixing slime or working with circuits.
During the session, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
Setting up and introducing the project in a positive and exciting manner
Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed
Briefly explaining the learning principles involved in the project (this information will be supplied on the session plan)
Demonstrating how to construct the project and helping children to make their own
Listening and talking to individual children, helping and guiding them through the project
Retaining a sense of humour in times of chaos!
Listening to parents and welcoming newcomers
About you
Previous experience of working with PRIMARY aged children essential!

Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 35.0 per week
