Brightmoon Services Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, organised and experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to join our growing operations in regional Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day supply, distribution and delivery operations, ensuring services are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and manage daily supply and distribution operations.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, routes, vehicles and personnel.
- Monitor the movement and delivery of goods, parcels and other items.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, safely and within required timeframes.
- Manage staff, contractors and delivery personnel as required.
- Allocate work and monitor staff performance and attendance.
- Coordinate vehicle and equipment availability, maintenance and operational requirements.
- Monitor fuel usage, vehicle costs and other operational expenses.
- Maintain accurate operational records, delivery documentation and reports.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to delivery issues, delays, customer concerns and operational problems.
- Develop and implement contingency arrangements for staff, vehicle or equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure workplace health and safety, security and compliance requirements are followed.
- Monitor service quality and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Assist with recruitment, training and induction of operational personnel.
- Ensure company procedures and contractual service requirements are consistently met.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.
- Support the ongoing growth and development of the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, transport or delivery operations.




- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to manage staff, contractors and operational resources.
- Good computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- A current Australian driver's licence.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when operationally required.

Experience

Essential:

- Relevant experience in supply, distribution, logistics, transport or operations management.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate people, vehicles and delivery activities.

Desirable:

- Experience in parcel delivery or postal distribution operations.
- Experience working with delivery contractors or subcontractors.
- Experience managing regional or remote delivery operations.
