Talent Mode is partnering with a Defence consultancy client seeking an experienced Delivery Technical Lead to support a major Defence capability program in Canberra.

This role will provide technical leadership, systems engineering expertise and stakeholder engagement across the design, assurance and delivery of complex ICT and technology solutions within a secure Defence environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership across capability delivery activities.
- Support solution design, technical planning and engineering assurance.
- Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies.
- Contribute to system specifications, technical requirements and architecture documentation.
- Support verification, validation and technical acceptance activities.
- Engage with Defence, industry and project stakeholders to achieve delivery outcomes.
- Provide technical advice to senior leaders and delivery teams.
- Ensure solutions align with governance,



security and assurance requirements.

Highly Desirable

- Experience delivering complex ICT or technology capability programs.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and technical delivery frameworks.
- Experience working within DevSecOps environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and modern security principles.
- Experience leading technical teams within Defence environments.
- Deployable ICT, communications or enterprise technology experience.
- Experience with Continuous Authority to Operate (CATO) environments.
- Knowledge of architecture, engineering assurance and cyber security frameworks.

You are a collaborative technical leader with solid Defence experience and a proven ability to guide complex technology initiatives from design through to delivery. You can effectively engage stakeholders, manage technical risk and deliver outcomes within secure and highly regulated environments.
