Mechanically minded? Enjoy working with tools, machinery and equipment?

Farley Riggs is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our workshop team in Edinburgh.

We're not necessarily looking for a qualified mechanic. We're looking for someone practical, with good mechanical aptitude, who enjoys working with their hands and isn't afraid to get stuck into different jobs.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with servicing, maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery
- Working with pumps, hoses, valves, vehicles and other industrial equipment
- Preparing and checking equipment before it goes out to site
- Sandblasting, surface preparation and painting when required
- General workshop maintenance and equipment preparation
- Working alongside the team to keep equipment protected and ready for use

What we're looking for

- Previous hands-on experience in a workshop, mechanical, maintenance or similar environment




- Confidence using hand tools and power tools
- Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability, a good work ethic and attention to safety
- Current driver's licence
- White Card, or willingness to obtain one

Forklift experience or a trade qualification would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
