Agape Mobile Health

Sydney

About us

Agape Mobile Health provides physiotherapy in people's homes across Greater Sydney, mainly for older Australians and people with disability through aged care and NDIS providers. Many of our referrals are for Arabic-speaking clients, and we're looking for an Arabic-speaking physiotherapist to join us as an independent contractor. Learn more at agapemobilehealth.com.au.

The role

Weekday daytime community and home-based physiotherapy visits across Greater Sydney, usually 45 to 60 minutes each, with a focus on Arabic-speaking clients. You choose which patients and areas you accept. Hours start small and grow as referrals come in, so we're upfront that this won't be full time at first. It suits a physio who wants flexible work alongside another role, or who wants to build a community caseload.

Key responsibilities

- Assess and treat patients at home: mobility, strength, balance, pain and independence
- Deliver safe, evidence-based care, including falls prevention, home safety and equipment advice
- Exercise programs, plus education for patients, families and carers
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and reports

What we offer

- $90 to $100 per hour (depending on funding type), paid fortnightly
- Travel paid separately where a patient's NDIS plan funds it
- No sales targets, no billing, no chasing funders: we handle referrals, scheduling and invoicing
- Clinical support from an experienced clinician whenever you want it
- New graduates welcome,

as are experienced physios

Requirements

- Fluent Arabic and English (Arabic-speaking preferred)
- AHPRA general registration with no conditions
- Your own ABN, plus professional indemnity ($10M) and public liability ($20M) insurance
- Driver's licence, reliable car, and the right to work in Australia
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Willingness to complete before starting: national police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module, Working With Children Check and infection control training

Desirable

- Aged care, community or NDIS experience

Apply through Indeed and answer a few quick questions. A CV is welcome but not required. We reply to every applicant within 3 business days.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
