Video Content Creator / Social Media Support

About the role

We are looking for a creative, reliable and well-organised Video Content Creator to support ongoing content production and social media projects.

The role will initially focus on video shoot support, filming and short-form content creation. As the role develops, there will be opportunities to become more involved in broader social media content creation and channel support.

This role would suit a student, recent graduate or early-career creative who enjoys being hands-on with content production and wants to build experience across video, creative direction and social media.

We are looking for someone who brings more than technical editing skills. You should have a strong aesthetic eye, understand what makes content visually engaging and be able to contribute creatively to a shoot.

Key responsibilities

Initially, your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting and assisting with video and content shoots
- Setting up cameras, lighting, audio and shoot environments
- Filming short-form social media content
- Assisting with shot composition, framing and creative direction
- Editing Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos
- Turning longer footage into engaging social content
- Creating video covers and simple supporting graphics
- Organising and managing video files and content assets
- Supporting content planning and production where required

As the role grows,



you may also become involved in social media content across platforms such as:

- Instagram
- TikTok
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- RedNote / Xiaohongshu

Experience with or an understanding of RedNote / Xiaohongshu (小红书) would be highly regarded.

About you

We are looking for someone who is creative, technically capable and dependable.

You will ideally have:

- A strong eye for aesthetics, composition and visual consistency
- A good understanding of typography and basic design principles
- An understanding of short-form video, hooks, pacing and storytelling
- Confidence filming content, not just editing existing footage
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive organisational and time management skills
- The ability to contribute creative ideas
- An interest in social media trends and digital content
- A willingness to learn and grow with the role

Software and technical skills

Experience with some of the following would be advantageous:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- CapCut
- Canva
- Final Cut Pro or similar editing software
- Cameras, lighting and basic audio equipment

You do not need to be an expert in every program listed, but you should be confident using creative software and comfortable learning new tools.

Reliability is extremely important in this role.

We are looking for someone who can:

- Communicate clearly and proactively
- Provide progress or status updates during projects
- Raise any potential delays or issues early
- Manage assigned work without constant follow-up
- Respond constructively to feedback
- Deliver work to an agreed standard and timeframe
