Melbourne Vivo is an independent apartment hotel with approximately 30 studio rooms. We are seeking a reliable, practical person to take responsibility for daily guest services and on-site operations.

This role requires a full-time commitment and suits someone looking for a stable live-in opportunity with autonomy, owner support and room to develop their management skills.

Your responsibilities

- Welcome guests and manage check-ins, check-outs and enquiries.
- Handle guest requests and resolve everyday issues professionally.
- Coordinate housekeeping and inspect rooms before arrival.
- Assist with occasional housekeeping duties when needed.
- Perform caring and upkeep of common areas
- Attend to small maintenance and repair jobs and follow up on larger repairs.
- Stay organised, prioritise tasks and make sure outstanding work gets completed.

About you





You are dependable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility. You communicate clearly in spoken and written English, have an eye for room presentation, and enjoy practical problem-solving.

Experience in hotel reception, serviced apartments, hospitality, customer service or team supervision is helpful. Applicants with relevant transferable experience are also welcome.

You must have suitable Australian work rights and be interested in a full-time live-in role. Remuneration and accommodation details will be discussed directly.
