Job Summary:

Applejack Hospitality is looking for a professional and service-focused Waitstaff member to join the team in Sydney. This on-site role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences, works well in a fast-paced setting, and contributes to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver attentive, friendly, and efficient table service to guests
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
- Support smooth service flow by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across the venue
- Follow responsible service of alcohol practices and comply with liquor laws and venue policies




- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and supportive service environment
- Assist with general service duties, including table setup, clearing, and resetting

Requirements:

- 3-4 years of experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing service role
- Previous table service experience, or progression from a Runner role with robust food and beverage knowledge
- Current NSW RSA Competency Card
- Strong customer service and food and beverage service skills
- Understanding of cleaning, hygiene, and liquor laws
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to team development
- Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Proven proactiveness, initiative, and the ability to think critically and offer solutions
- High level of job understanding, policy integrity, and legal compliance
- Ability to maintain a positive teamwork culture and lead by example in day-to-day service
