We have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Manager to join the passionate team at the Milawa Cheese Company in Milawa, VIC 3678. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafe area, fulfilling its full potential. You will set the standard of exceptional hospitality and customer experience. You will be hiring and training new staff to ensure an that level is upheld. This is a full-time role that will see you leading and developing a talented front-of-house team.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all front-of-house operations, including customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling

Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors

Lead, train, and motivate a team of front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture

Implement and maintain efficient systems and procedures to optimise operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement

Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives

Demonstrated experience in a front-of-house management role within the hospitality or retail industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in inventory management, cash handling, and financial reporting

Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
