Junior Finance Business Partner - Immediate Start

As a Junior Finance Business Partner based in Melbourne, you will join a PE-backed wholesale business experiencing rapid growth. The role will contain a mixture of work including financial accounting as well as partnering with senior stakeholders, you will provide commercial and financial insights to support decision-making, drive performance, and contribute to the company's ongoing expansion.

Description

The Jnr. Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

- Support month end activities & reporting
- Complete complex inter-company reconciliation work
- Analyse financial information to provide clear, practical insight for business decisions.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries that present key results in a clear format.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecast discussions.
- Review financial performance against plans and identify key movements for stakeholders.




- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand financial requirements and provide relevant analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through accurate data review and reporting.
- Improve the clarity and consistency of financial information used across the Accounting & Finance function.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

- Experience interpreting financial data and turning it into clear business insight.
- Preference for Chartered background in mid-tier or big-4
- Strong financial modelling, reporting and analysis capability.
- Ability to prepare accurate financial summaries for a range of stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Practical knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Ability to discuss financial performance in explicit, straightforward language.
