Our medical and surgical teams care for patients across a range of specialties, including orthopaedics, spinal and neurosurgery, cardiothoracic, colorectal, vascular and general surgery.

With 13 operating theatres, a hybrid theatre and robotic-assisted surgical technology, Warringal provides opportunities to work in established surgical teams and care for patients undergoing complex procedures.

You'll work alongside experienced Registered Nurses, specialist doctors and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to safe patient care from admission through to recovery and discharge.

Job Description

Your Opportunities

We're recruiting Enrolled Nurses with recent experience in:

- Medical & Surgical Nursing: Acute medical, general surgical, orthopaedic and specialist inpatient wards, including postoperative patient care.
- Theatre – Scrub/Scout: Preparing equipment and the theatre environment, maintaining sterile technique and supporting surgical procedures within your scope of practice.

You'll provide direct nursing care, monitor patients, administer medications within your scope and competencies, and recognise and escalate changes in patient condition while working under the direct or indirect supervision of Registered Nurses.

About You

To be considered, you'll need:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Current,



valid working rights in Australia.
- Minimum 12 months post-graduate acute hospital experience, including recent experience in the specialty you apply for.
- Medication administration competencies, including IV qualifications where required for the role.
- Strong clinical observation and patient care skills, with a commitment to safe practice, communication and teamwork.

Working at Ramsay

- Continue developing your nursing skills through clinical education and professional development, including Ramsay's EN-to-RN Transition Program for eligible Enrolled Nurses.
- Full time, part-time and casual positions, with preferred hours and roster arrangements open for discussion.
- Remuneration: Base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $40.41 + super based on experience level and qualifications. Penalty rates and allowances are additional. (VIC Enrolled Nurse Year 1–Year 8*).

Additional Information

- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
