This November, The Sporting Globe opens in Greensborough, and it’s set to become the flagship of the Sporting Globe brand.

We’re looking for a Head Chef who wants more than a job. We want someone ready to build something of their own and take a real step forward in their career.

This isn’t a role where you inherit someone else’s kitchen and carry on as usual.
As part of the opening leadership team, you’ll hand-pick and build your own BOH crew, set the standards, and shape the culture and operation from the ground up.
You’ll have the autonomy to run the kitchen your way, backed by an experienced Venue Manager, a supportive leadership team and the resources of a growing hospitality group.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- ?‍? Recruit, lead, coach and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- ? Take ownership of a flagship BOH operation with the autonomy to make it your own
- ? Lead a well-resourced, well-structured team to deliver consistent, quality food every service
- ? Manage food costs, labour, stock, ordering and kitchen performance
- ? Keep food safety, compliance and kitchen standards sharp
- ? Work in partnership with the Venue Manager and leadership team

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- You’re an experienced Head Chef, or a solid Sous Chef ready to step up.
- You know how to run a high-volume kitchen, manage the numbers and still care about what goes over the pass.
- You enjoy building teams, developing people and setting high standards.
- Most importantly, you lead from the front.
