Zoom Recruitment is seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join a busy steel reinforcing manufacturing team based in Eagle Farm, QLD.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating steel processing machinery, assisting with the bending, cutting and shaping of steel products, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment alongside an experienced team, with full training provided to help you develop the skills required for the position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:Operate steel processing machinery and gantry cranes.

Assist with steel reinforcing bending, cutting and shaping.

Conduct quality inspections and checks.

Complete manual handling tasks of up to 10 kg.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures.





Maintain a clean and organised production area.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Skills and Experience:

Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is advantageous.

Gantry crane experience or basic MIG welding skills highly regarded.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Reliable, punctual and motivated work ethic.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Full Australian working rights essential.

Working Hours:

Dayshift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Monday to Friday roster.

Hourly Rates:

Dayshift: $40.00 per hour.

Afternoon Shift: $46.00 per hour.

Immediate starts are available, subject to successful completion of a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
