ABOUT THE ROLE
Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8am-5pm
Join our team in Salisbury Plains, SA 5109 as a Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) Officer. Based at our South Australian branches and overseeing NT and WA, this is a hands-on, on-the-ground role – from training and inductions to site audits and risk assessments, you’ll make an immediate impact on keeping our people and sites safe.

In this role you will:

- Oversee WHS and environmental matters across our SA, NT and WA branches, including coordinating safety and environmental systems
- Deliver WHS and environmental training and ensure all employees and site visitors complete their inductions
- Complete risk assessments, safe work instructions, safety and environmental audits and reports, then recommend and implement improvements
- Liaise with the National Manager – WHSE to develop WHS and environmental policies, procedures and manuals
- Support branch operations as required

ABOUT YOU

- Tertiary safety qualifications (Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher is desirable)
- Proven WHSE experience and a sound understanding of WHS and environmental legislation
- Confident using computer systems and word processing to prepare WHSE reports
- Organised, efficient and detail-focused, able to multitask in a multi-faceted workplace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills




- A passion for safety and an upbeat, can-do attitude
