Job Summary

We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable Agitator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to customer sites while maintaining high standards of safety, product quality, and customer service. Working closely with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers, you will ensure deliveries are completed on time, equipment is maintained to a high standard, and all operations are carried out in compliance with company policies and road regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated driver who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck in accordance with company policies, road regulations, and safety standards.
- Complete daily pre-start and post-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Load concrete from the batch plant and ensure the correct product is delivered to customer sites.
- Deliver ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently while maintaining product quality throughout transport.
- Discharge concrete at customer sites in line with site requirements and safety procedures.
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing professional and reliable service at every delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch, batch plant personnel,



and customers to support daily operations.
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle inspections.
- Clean and maintain the agitator truck and associated equipment to a high standard.
- Adhere to all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and equipment issues promptly.
- Support the wider operations team to ensure production and delivery targets are achieved.

About You

- Current HR Driver's Licence (essential).
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience, preferably within the construction, transport, concrete, quarry, or building materials industry.
- Experience operating an agitator truck is desirable but not essential, with training available for the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out vehicle inspections, cleaning, and general operational duties.
- Sound understanding of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-focused approach.
