Talent Associates is partnering with a leading national civil contractor delivering a landmark transport infrastructure project that will play a critical role in supporting future growth and connectivity across South East Queensland.
With project mobilisation underway, we are seeking a number of experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join the team and contribute to the successful delivery of this huge infrastructure project which will reshape the transport corridor from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast.

Opportunity
Working closely with senior project leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating project delivery, managing subcontractors, driving construction outcomes and ensuring commercial and safety objectives are achieved. Multiple roles are available which will sit across project scopes that include; services, earthworks, FRP, temporary works, traffic and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee construction activities across project work fronts
- Monitor project programs and support delivery against key milestones
- Manage subcontractor and supplier performance, procurement and contract administration
- Support cost control, forecasting and budget management
- Identify and manage project risks, variations and contractual obligations
- Coordinate work packs, methodologies, QA documentation and ITPs
- Assist with design management and resolution of construction issues
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants and project teams




- Drive HSEQ compliance and promote a strong safety culture
- Contribute to productivity, project performance and successful delivery outcomes

About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer delivering civil or infrastructure projects
- Experience working for a principal contractor
- Strong understanding of project planning, construction methodologies and project controls
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and site-based delivery teams
- Sound commercial acumen including cost control and contract administration
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to safety, quality and environmental performance
- Able to relocate or transition to a Sunshine Coast-based role as the project progresses
