The Opportuntity

We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused ICT Support Officer to join our team at Wacol and support our growing business.

This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users and contributing to the ongoing improvement of ICT systems and processes.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will provide frontline ICT support across the business, ensuring employees have reliable, secure and efficient technology solutions while assisting with projects, system enhancements and cybersecurity initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide first-level ICT support and respond to Service Desk requests.

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile device, and system issues both remotely and onsite.

- Configure, deploy, maintain, and support computers and mobile devices.

- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Word and Excel.

- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of corporate ICT systems and infrastructure.

- Maintain IT hardware and liaise with third party vendors for repairs and support.

- Contribute to ICT projects and system improvement initiatives.

- Create and maintain IT documentation, training materials, and support resources.

- Promote and support cyber security standards and best practices across the business.

- Build solid relationships with users and deliver outstanding customer service.





What You'll Bring

- Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Previous experience in an ICT Support, Service Desk, or IT Support role.

- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams, Outlook and SharePoint.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support stakeholders at all levels.

- Exposure to SharePoint development, Power Apps and Power Automate will be highly regarded.

- Knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and cyber security principles.

- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow your technical skills.
