PMO Reporting Analyst
PMO and portfolio reporting
We’re seeking a PMO Reporting Analyst to improve portfolio reporting and turn project data into clear, useful insights. You’ll develop dashboards, reporting processes and data standards, while helping the PMO make better use of automation and AI.
This role suits someone who can work across data, reporting and process improvement, and who is comfortable building practical solutions with Google Apps Script and AI-powered tools.
Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, KPIs, reporting templates and visualisations.
- Collect, validate and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, dependencies and areas needing attention.
- Use trend analysis, forecasting and AI-assisted analysis to help identify projects at risk.
- Build and maintain Google Apps Script solutions to automate workflows, approvals and data handling across Google Workspace.
- Use generative AI and prompt engineering to support status report compilation, risk summaries and other PMO content.
- Prepare portfolio updates and executive summaries for senior stakeholders.
- Improve data quality, reporting standards, data dictionaries and KPI definitions.




- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and connect project tools with other systems.
- Support stakeholder adoption of improved PMO reporting processes and tools.

About you
- 3–5 years’ experience in PMO or portfolio reporting, business analysis or a related role.
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting and dashboard development.
- Advanced Google Apps Script skills, including workflow automation and integrations between Google Workspace applications and external APIs.
- Experience with generative AI and prompt engineering for practical reporting or analysis tasks.
- Advanced capability with a visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Excel or similar.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and experience working with data sets, formulas and data mapping.
- SQL experience and knowledge of data integration.
- Understanding of data quality, data governance and PMO reporting.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders.
- A self-directed, improvement-focused approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
