Our focus is providing excellent customer service to retail and trade customers for all of their battery needs, accessories as well as camping goods and solar products. Our parent company operates a diverse range of businesses across Australia and New Zealand, including battery supply, battery recycling, mobile service and a variety of automotive & leisure products, providing opportunities for development.

About the role

We have an opening for a full-time highly motivated individual to be our newest front of house Sales Assistant.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be part of our small local team that provides great knowledge and service to our valued retail and B2B customers in the surrounding areas. This is a job that you can really make a difference and feel part of success.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

- Provide the highest levels of professional service to all our retail and trade customers and ensure optimal sales results.

- Battery testing, fitting and delivery.

- Sale of 12 volt accessories and other automotive related products.

- Sale of Camping & mobile solar products

- Providing sound knowledge and good advice.

About You





To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key competencies:

- Strong customer service skills (face to face & telephone)

- Mechanical & outdoors aptitude (Automotive trade qualification would be an advantage but not essential)

- Positive and conscientious attitude and a willingness to provide solutions

- Highly organised and reliable with the ability and honesty to operate independently

- Self-motivated, versatile and willing to adapt to a variety of work

- Current driver's and forklift licence

- Previous battery and sales experience will be an advantage
