Customer Service Officer – Insurance & Restoration

Cowan Restoration Group is one of Australia's largest privately owned restoration companies, providing emergency response services to the insurance industry 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our team in Braeside. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, administration, insurance, call centre or claims experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a national business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing inbound calls and claim enquiries
- Coordinating restoration works with customers, insurers and internal teams
- Updating claim information in company and insurer systems
- Assisting customers through what can often be a stressful time
- Monitoring claim progress and ensuring service standards are met
- Providing administrative and invoicing support to operational teams
- Participating in a shared after-hours roster
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service, administration, insurance or call centre experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
