The Golden Fleece Hotel is looking for a motivated, experienced Full time Chef to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and can confidently manage a busy section while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Preparing and cooking quality meals across a busy pub menu.

- Confidently managing a high-volume section during busy service periods.

- Working across multiple sections, including grill, fryers and other kitchen areas.

- Maintaining consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.

- Ensuring food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards are maintained.

- Assisting with preparation, stock rotation and general kitchen duties.

- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

- Taking initiative and working independently when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a qualified or skilled working Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.

- Strong experience managing a busy section during high-volume service.





- Confidence working across grill, fryers and larger kitchen equipment.

- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and a willingness to support fellow team members.

- A strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.

- Reliability, flexibility and a genuine passion for hospitality.
