This hands-on role involves assembling metal and fabricated components, sub-assemblies, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, values safety,



and enjoys working as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble fabricated metal components in line with technical drawings and SOPsPerform mechanical fitting, bolting, alignment and welding preparationRead and interpret engineering drawings and work ordersMaintain accurate production recordsMachine/Equipment OperationOperate production machinery including overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely and efficientlySet up machines and perform changeovers as requiredTroubleshoot basic machinery issues and elevate where requiredSafety & QualityFollow all WHS procedures and company policiesComplete quality checks to ensure products meet specificationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentActively participate in continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouExperience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience operating hand/power/ pneumatic tools and machineryStrong attention to detailA solid understanding of workplace health & safety practicesGood communication skills and a team-focused attitudeReliability, punctuality and a robust work ethicWillingness to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including functional capacity assessment) and Drug and alcohol screening
