Together, with engaged and supportive parents, the staff of St Joseph's create a safe and stimulating learning environment where each child has the opportunity to achieve his or her potential.About the RoleThe Groundsperson will be responsible for the upkeep of the school grounds at St Joseph's School, Weipa which will include:Chemical spraying (required to hold a current ChemCert license)Keeping of school maintenance recordsAbility to perform basic maintenance of facilitiesExperience with operating and servicing/maintenance of a range of turf machinery and equipment (ie mowers, line trimmers, rotary hoe)Maintaining plants,
gardens and school vehiclesKnowledge of irrigation operating systems and ability to maintain the systemMonitor and act on all compliance related tasks.
