The successful candidates will work alongside experienced installers in the deployment of geomembrane and geosynthetic clay liner systems, supporting all aspects of site activity under the direction of the site supervisor.This position is suited to motivated workers who are looking to build a long-term career in the geosynthetics industry.
Prior experience is not essential, although any background in civil construction, earthworks, or general labouring will be highly regarded.
LMI Group Investments provides genuine opportunities to develop into welding, quality assurance testing, and supervisory roles for those who show the right attitude and commitment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the installation of geomembrane and GCL liner systems, including panel placement, deployment, and positioningAssist with general site duties including site preparation, materials handling, sandbagging, and housekeepingParticipate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and safety inspectionsCompliance with all workplace health and safety requirements,



contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and othersCollaboration with project managers, site supervisors, telehandler operators, and CQA personnel to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with specificationSelection CriteriaA current White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essentialPrior experience in civil construction, earthworks, geosynthetics, or general labouring will be highly regarded but is not essentialA strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills on the jobA genuine interest in developing a career within the geosynthetics industryStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamworkPhysical fitness and the capacity to work in varied environmental conditionsWillingness to travel to project sites as requiredA solid commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanshipTraining and DevelopmentLMI Group Investments is committed to the long-term development of its workforce.
