About the RoleAustralian Staffing Agency (ASA) is seeking reliable and hardworking Mail Sorters and Handline Operators to join busy mail house and production environments across Scoresby, Braeside and Bayswater.With the Christmas ramp-up underway, our clients require additional staff to support increased mail volumes.
We have ASAP starts available for candidates who are ready to work in a fast-paced production environment.Previous experience in Australia Post, mail houses, direct mail, postal services or production environments is highly regarded.Key ResponsibilitiesManual mail sorting and processingLabelling, rework and quality checkingMatching mail and collating documentsFolding, inserting, packing and preparing mail for dispatchChecking documents and mail items for accuracyAssisting with general handline and mail production dutiesWorking efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlinesMaintaining a clean,



safe and organised work environmentWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in mail sorting, handline, mail houses, Australia Post or production environments is highly regardedStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environmentComfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periodsReliable transport to and from work - essentialValid Police Check or willingness to obtain one - essentialReliable attendance, punctuality and a strong work ethicGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamFlexibility to assist across sorting, labelling, rework, matching mail and collation dutiesWorking Holiday Visa holders welcome, provided they have valid Australian work rights and are available for the Christmas ramp-upHighly Desirable ExperienceAustralia Post mail processing or postal sortingMail house and direct mail campaign productionHandline, matching mail, collation and document preparationLabelling, rework and quality controlHigh-volume repetitive production workFulfilment, packing or dispatch
