Commercial Manager Horticulture | Industry leaderDynamic industry leader | Business partner GM OperationsMarket leader undertaking accelerated growth | Regional VictoriaThe OpportunityAn industry leader experiencing significant growth, our client is seeking a Commercial Manager Operations to provide financial leadership and commercial support across its regional operations, driving operational performance and supporting strategic growth initiatives.The ChallengeReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Commercial Manager Operations will be responsible for providing commercial support to the operations team whilst ensuring accurate, timely and insightful reporting, budgeting and forecasting across operations and the division.
Key responsibilities include:Delivering monthly management reporting and analysisLeading the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets with detailed commentary and variance analysisPartnering with regional and operational managers to drive operational and financial performancePartner with the c-suite to actively identifying performance and commercial improvement initiativesProviding strategic financial insights to support decision-making across manufacturing operationsEnhancing financial controls,



compliance and governance frameworks across operational sites and processesSupporting audit processes, risk management and continuous improvement initiativesDriving improvements in reporting, forecasting and budgeting methodologiesThis role requires a commercially astute, hands-on finance leader who combines strategic insight with operational expertise and thrives spending time partnering with teams across multiple sites to drive business performance.The ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:CPA/CA Qualification with demonstrated experience within a agricultural/manufacturing or possibly FMCG operations environmentPrevious experience business partnering operations teamsDistinguished management reporting and cost accounting skillsTransformational zeal and a flair for process improvementStrong understanding of accounting principles and corporate financeSuperior commercial acumen and business partnering skillsYou are a hands on commercial leader with the ability to be 'in the detail'Robust financial modelling and analytical skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders
